Gift Ideas for Bloggers
Ring Light
One of the best gift ideas for Bloggers is the Neewer Ring Light. If you don’t like using natural light or need more brightness in the area you’re working in, this is a must-have!
Lighting can make or break the quality of your content. You want to focus on creating in well-lit places to avoid shadows and enhance how attractive your content turns out.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, the Selfie Ring Light is perfect. I used this at the beginning of my journey and it did an amazing job until I was able to save for an upgrade.
Tripod
A tripod is great for holding your phone or camera while you’re creating content. It can help your images come out sharper and improve stability.
I recommend the Amazon Basics Tripod. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and has an adjustable height of 60 inches.
Using this helps me achieve the perfect shots and videos that aren’t blurry or shaky. It also comes with a carrying case so you can easily take it with you wherever you go.
Notebook or Planner
As a creator, it’s important to stay organized so you don’t become overwhelmed. It’s great to have a dedicated place to write down your tasks, content ideas, and goals.
Having a notebook or planner can help you keep everything in one place. One that I recommend can be found from a black-owned brand called The Book’d Store.
This planner comes with the following:
- Monthly analytics to track your growth
- Finances sheet
- Goal setting worksheets
- Vision board space
- Reading lists
and more!
Sheepskin Rug
Sheepskin Rugs are perfect to have as a prop or background when taking product shots. I’ve always seen photography ideas on Pinterest with one of these which is why I decided to try them.
Here’s an example of a photo I took with mine:

I also use it as a background to record product-focused Instagram Reels like this one.
This will help you focus directly on the products that you’re showcasing and remove distractions that could be in the background.
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Lens
When you purchase a camera, the type of lens and settings you use can improve the quality of your content. One of my favorite lenses for my Canon is the Sigma 30mm lens.
This helps me achieve sharp, high-quality content and it has the perfect amount of blur in the background.
A budget-friendly option that still produces attractive content is the 50mm lens also known as the Nifty Fifty. This lens is the cheapest option I’ve seen, however, it will still provide crisp photos and videos!
Both of these are prime lenses which means they don’t zoom in or out. You’ll have to be far away from the camera to get in the middle of the frame.
The 50mm lens is great for bigger rooms. If you don’t have a lot of space, you should go with the 30mm lens or anything lower. The smaller the number, the less space you need between you and the camera!
The Influencer Book
Brittany Hennessy is the author of Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media which has been a helpful resource on my journey.
This is great for all types of Influencers whether you’re a beginner or have been creating content for years!
If you want to learn about making money as an Influencer, pitching to brands, and building an engaged audience, this book is packed with information that will benefit your growth.
Flash Drive
As you continue to record videos, take pictures, and start editing, your storage space will fill up quickly.
There’s nothing more annoying than getting the notification that your storage is full when you’re in the middle of creating.
A solution for that is to invest in this Flash Drive which works for both Androids and iPhones.
You can upload your videos, pictures, and your contacts on the flash drive to free up your space. Now you won’t have to worry about deleting content that you worked hard on!
Cell Phone Ring Holder
Since I work from my phone a lot, I want to be able to hold it comfortably and prop it up while I’m watching videos. This Cell Phone Ring Holder has been helpful for that!
The ring grip allows you to hold your devices steady and prevents them from falling from your hand easily.
This helps me get the perfect shot and angle when I want to take selfies and I’m able to keep my phone still to prevent my videos from shaking.
Bluetooth Remote
The Bluetooth Camera Remote is a game-changer when it comes to taking pictures on your phone. If you don’t have a photographer, then you need this!
You connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth and you’re able to take pictures with one click.
This will help you take full-body shots without worrying about setting a timer or being near your phone.
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Lightroom is my top favorite photo editing app. It can transform a dull picture into a bright, quality piece of content that your audience will love.
One thing I love about Lightroom is you can create or purchase presets. Presets are great for keeping your Instagram feed cohesive because they’ll ensure all of your content looks the same.
I bought a bundle of filters that are perfect for melanin skin tones. You can check them out here and add them to Lightroom.
Play around with different ones to see what works best for your overall aesthetic.
Felt Letter Board
I’ve always seen creators with a letter board and thought it was a nice prop to have in photos. It comes with different sizes of letters, punctuation marks, numbers, and emojis.
You can share anything on the board whether it’s your favorite quote, positive affirmations, social media handles, or a hashtag that you’re promoting.
Softbox Lights
Softbox Lights will make your area brighter so you can achieve the best quality for your content. This kit works together to remove shadows and produce the perfect balance of light.
What’s the difference between these and a ring light?
Softbox lights provide one big source of light for your area and can be used to illuminate a group of people. A ring light is meant to be used for 1-2 close subjects.
Some creators prefer one over the other, however, I believe it depends on your space and how much brightness you need.
Plants

Plants can bring a more natural, relaxing feel to your content. If you don’t have a green thumb, then artificial plants work just as well!
My favorite is the Monstera plant. This is perfect to have in the background when I’m recording or taking photos.
If you’re looking for something smaller, this Potted Green Leaf Plant is a great option! I love using this when I’m taking product shots. Here’s an example of how it looks:

Canon Rebel T7i
The Canon Rebel T7i is a mirrorless camera which means the screen flips out — this feature is helpful while recording videos since you can ensure you’re in the frame.
It has WiFi so I’m able to easily connect my phone or iPad to transfer my content.
Another feature that I love about this camera is the quick autofocus. Whenever you move, it keeps you or the products in focus without making a lot of noise.
If you have a Canon, I recommend downloading the Canon Connect App. You can use the remote shooting feature to take your pictures and record videos by hitting a button on your phone.
Extra Camera Batteries
There’s nothing more annoying than being in the middle of creating and your camera dies. Having backup batteries is a must!
Make sure you choose the correct ones based on the type of camera you have. For my Canon Rebel T7i, I use the Artman 2-Pack Batteries.
These last for a while and I love that it comes with a dual charger. I always have multiple batteries to fall back on when my camera starts running low.
Marble Vanity Tray
One of the last gift ideas for Bloggers is a Marble Vanity Tray which is another prop you can use for product shots.
Here’s a shot I took with it:

There are many things you can add to your content to upgrade the overall look. Get creative and make the best use out of the props you have!
These will make the perfect addition to your content creation space. Using the right equipment can help you create quality content that your audience and brands will love.
Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself. You can be confident that you’ll see a return on investment with the recommendations in this guide!
