If you have sensitive skin, you want to be careful when purchasing exfoliants – one wrong choice can lead to a flare-up. Although some people are hesitant to exfoliate, there are a variety of body scrubs for sensitive skin that will leave you smooth, glowing, and irritation-free!

Using a body scrub can remove dead cells, prevent clogged pores, and reveal brighter skin. It can also help your moisturizers penetrate deeper and work more effectively. Adding this step to your body care routine is a must and will make a difference in the overall look and feel of your skin.

Next time you go shopping, pick up a few of these body scrubs and pamper yourself from head to toe!

Body Scrubs for Sensitive Skin

Dove Rice Milk Body Polish

The Rice Milk Body Polish is one of my favorite scrubs from Dove! Not only does it smell velvety, but it also provides a moderate exfoliation that’s perfect for those with sensitive skin.

It has a rich, whipped texture that creates a creamy lather as you rub it on your skin. I love that it’s not abrasive and a little goes a long way.

Whenever I use this, my skin feels smooth and nourished.

I love pairing this with the Method Body Simply Nourish wash. They both are formulated with Rice Milk and will leave you smelling good for hours!

Fenty Skin Buff Ryder

Fenty Skin Buff Ryder Scrub

Fenty Skin Buff Ryder is one body scrub I don’t mind splurging on. Every ounce of this scrub is worth the money in my opinion!

The Buff Ryder is formulated with sugar, sea salt, and superfine sand to exfoliate while fruit enzymes help soften the skin. These are gentle but still provide an effective exfoliation that will leave your skin silky smooth.

The smell is the best part of this scrub. It has a warm, tropical scent similar to caramel and guava. I love anything that smells edible, which is why this is one of my main go-to’s when it’s time to exfoliate!

I highly recommend trying the Butta Drop Whipped Body Cream after using the scrub. These are the perfect combo and will leave your skin hydrated and soft.

Soap & Glory Scrub of Your Life

I’ve always heard great things about the Scrub of Your Life from Soap & Glory and finally had to see what the hype was about. They have an amazing selection of body care products so I knew this wouldn’t disappoint.

This scrub foams up and has the perfect amount of scrubbing beads that will leave your skin smooth. If you want to see an example of the texture, watch this Reel on my Instagram!

It’s scented with a blend of Rose and Citrus Bergamot. This scrub is perfect if you enjoy smelling like a tropical island!

A great body wash to pair this with is Clean On Me. They both have a similar scent and will provide a long-lasting fragrance.

Tree Hut Pineapple Scrub

Tree Hut will always be one of my top favorite brands to buy scrubs from. If you follow me on social media, then you know I have almost all of their scrubs on the shelf!

They recently came out with a Pineapple Sugar Scrub and sent it to me — I was so excited to try it and I wasn’t disappointed with the results.

It smells exactly like tropical fruit with notes of pineapple, lemon, and sugarcane. Pineapple contains Vitamin C which is known to brighten and provide an even skin tone. That’s another plus of using this!

It’s not too abrasive and leaves my skin super soft. I can always count on this brand to leave my skin radiant and smooth after a shower.

I recommend pairing this with the Pineapple Body Wash from Olay. Your bathroom will be filled with the rejuvenating aroma of pineapple and coconut water with this duo!

Raw Sugar Watermelon Scrub

Watermelon is one of my favorite fruity scents to bathe in year-round!

The Watermelon + Fresh Mint scrub from Raw Sugar has a mix of sugar, watermelon, and peppermint leaf extract that helps exfoliate, brighten, hydrate, and smooth. I love the texture of the scrub and how easy it is to spread across the skin.

After rinsing this off, you can expect moisturized, supple skin and a glow. The fragrance always lingers on my skin as well.

The mint isn’t overpowering, it smells more like watermelon than anything. I highly recommend pairing this with their Watermelon + Fresh Mint body wash.

Layering your products in the shower will ensure the scent is long-lasting and they always work better together!

Dr. Teal’s Pink Himalayan Salt

The last body scrub that I recommend is Dr. Teal’s Pink Himalayan Salt. I’ve always been hesitant to use salt scrubs because my skin is sensitive, however, this one has worked perfectly for me.

This is formulated with a blend of Pink Himalayan Salt and Epsom Salt which help to gently exfoliate and soften the skin. The Bergamot and Sweet Orange essential oils can soothe your senses and help you relax after a long day!

It also contains Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E which provides long-lasting hydration.

I love using this with the Method Body Pure Peace wash. You can see a quick tutorial with this duo by watching my bathtime video. Both of these smell amazing and will fill your bathroom with a relaxing fragrance.

Here are a few tips to follow when exfoliating sensitive skin:

  • Use a gentle cleanser beforehand to remove dirt/oils
  • Apply your scrubs in circular motions and be gentle
  • Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
  • Follow up with a moisturizer and body oil
  • Start exfoliating once a week + increase as needed

Scrub the dead skin away and get ready to meet your new skin!
