Bath and Shower Products List

African Exfoliating Net

One of my top favorite bath and shower products is African Exfoliating Nets. Ever since I added them to my routine, I never want to go back to using a regular washcloth.

These nets help to exfoliate the skin and it provides an amazing lather for any body wash or soap that you use.

A great thing about the exfoliating net is it doesn’t hold bacteria as a sponge would. It’s easy to maintain and can last for a long time. It’s safe to say that they’re worth the investment!

I also love that these nets make it easier to clean hard-to-reach areas such as my back. Since they’re long enough and have a nice stretch, you don’t have to worry about struggling to thoroughly cleanse your skin.

Check out this video on my Instagram to see the lather it creates!

Silicone Bath Brush

If you have sensitive skin, the Silicone Bath Brush is perfect for you. It’s gentle and can be used from head to toe for smoother skin.

These brushes are made out of 100% silicone which is easy to clean and doesn’t hold bacteria. The back of it can be used to massage the skin and improve blood circulation.

Here are a few more benefits:

  • Can remove makeup
  • Exfoliates dead skin
  • Promotes new cell growth
  • Removes dirt and oil

There are a variety of colors to choose from and they’ll make your shower routine more refreshing!

EcoTools Dry Brush

If you haven’t added a dry brush to your body care routine, then you’re missing out! I love doing this a couple of times per week before my shower and I love the relaxation it provides.

The EcoTools Dry Brush is designed with synthetic bristles to provide deep exfoliation and detoxify the skin. It’s made from recyclable bamboo and is 100% vegan and cruelty-free!

Dry brushing helps to increase blood circulation, break down cellulite, prevent ingrown hairs, and promote lymphatic drainage. It’ll also leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

This does an amazing job of removing dead skin cells and improving the overall appearance of the skin.

Exfoliating Gloves

Exfoliating gloves are made out of textured fabric similar to a loofah. I love using these because you can cleanse and remove dead skin in one step.

Here are a few benefits to expect:

  • Prevents ingrown hairs
  • Unclogs pores
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Leaves skin glowing

When you use these gloves, make sure that you’re switching them out frequently. If you don’t, bacteria can build up in them and you don’t want to transfer that to your skin.

It’s best to replace them every 3-4 weeks, especially if you use them regularly.

Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt

Dr Teal's Hemp Seed Oil Epsom Salt

Dr. Teal’s products will always be a staple in my bathtime routine! One must-have that will help you to unwind after a long day is the Hemp Seed Oil Epsom Salt.

It’s formulated with a soothing blend of Hemp Seed Oil, White Thyme, Cedarwood, and Bergamot essential oils that will calm your mind and soothe the senses.

Epsom salt relieves sore muscles, refreshes the appearance of your skin, and provides deep moisture. I recommend pairing this with their Bubble Bath for a spa-like experience in the comfort of your home!

Moisturizing Body Washes

Another essential bath and shower product to have is a moisturizing body wash. Every step in your shower routine can be used to add moisture to your skin, including the type of soap you choose to bathe in.

You want to look for body washes that will provide long-lasting hydration and leave your skin nourished. Anything that leaves your skin feeling stripped or uncomfortable isn’t the best option for you.

Body Scrubs

Exfoliating your skin is important and should be a consistent step in your body care routine. I love doing this at least 3-4x per week and it has been a game-changer.

When you exfoliate regularly, it can help even out your skin tone, prevent ingrown hairs, and allow your other products to penetrate more effectively. If you apply body serums or oils to your skin afterward, they’ll be able to do their job better!

Sugar scrubs are my main go-to, they have many delicious scents to choose from and they always leave my skin feeling silky smooth. Check out some of my favorites below:

Focus on your elbows, knees, and heels when exfoliating since those spots tend to be the roughest! This will help you achieve brighter, healthier-looking skin.

Feminine Wash

L. Daily Care Foam Wash

Practicing good habits in your feminine hygiene routine will help you maintain your vaginal health.

Although there are many vaginal care products to buy, you want to choose unscented options that are formulated with safe ingredients.

One of my favorites that I’ve been using for years is the L. Daily Care Feminine Wash. It’s free of fragrances and will keep your pH balanced. This keeps me smelling fresh and comfortable!

With every purchase that you make from this brand, they donate a period care item to a person in need. Their mission to make period care accessible is one that I’ll always stand behind and support.

Another feminine hygiene product that I love is the L. Fragrance-Free pH Balanced Wipes. These are perfect to use throughout the day when you need to freshen up.

Shave Oil

Tree Hut Tropic Glow Moisturizing Shave Oil

The Tropic Glow Shave Oil from Tree Hut has quickly become my go-to shaving product! This gel-to-oil formula provides intense moisture and allows your razor to glide easily across the skin.

Shave oils are great for preventing irritation + nicks and will help you to achieve a close shave that leaves your skin feeling like silk! Whenever I use this, I’m very satisfied with my results.

Tropic Glow smells like a warm summer day with notes of almond, amber, and sandalwood. I recommend pairing this with their Body Butter for moisturized, soft skin after shaving!

If you’re prone to ingrown hairs and razor bumps, then give shave oils a try!

Shaving Cream

Flamingo Foaming Shave Gel

Another must-have bath and shower product to have in your routine is a quality shaving cream. Shaving creams act as a barrier and will prevent your razor from tugging the hair on your skin.

The Flamingo Foaming Shave Gel transforms into a pillowy foam that’s creamy and spreads easily across the skin. It has a warm, floral scent that’s very subtle.

It does an amazing job of adding cushion to help you achieve a comfortable, close shave and leave your skin soft and moisturized.

BIC Flex 5 Men’s Razor

BIC Flex 5 Men’s Razor

Switching to a men’s razor has been the best decision! They’re affordable and help me to get a closer, smoother shave that lasts longer.

The BIC Flex 5 Razor has 5 flexible blades and adjusts to the contours of your skin which helps you reach tricky areas that need to be trimmed.

Since it’s sharper than a woman’s razor, you want to make sure you’re careful when using it. Be gentle and don’t press down too hard on the skin.

One thing I love about this razor is you can keep the same handle and change out the blades as needed. This helps me to save more money and it’s convenient.

Rinse-Off Body Conditioner

If we use conditioner on our hair, then why not use it on our bodies? The Olay Rinse-Off Body Conditioner works to stop dry skin before it starts and will leave your skin smooth.

It’s formulated with Shea Butter and Hyaluronic Acid which is perfect for those who struggle with dry skin.

After you finish bathing, apply the conditioner all over your body and massage it in. Once you rinse off, you’ll be met with smooth, moisturized results that last!

Body Moisturizers

Pampering your skin doesn’t stop once you get out of the shower. It’s important to have an after-shower routine to continue to give your skin the TLC it needs.

While your skin is still damp, you want to apply a moisturizer. This will help you to get the best results!

There are many lotions, body butter, and creams that will leave your skin soft and provide long-lasting hydration.

Here are some of my faves you should check out:

Body Oil

After you apply a moisturizer, this is a great time to follow up with body oil. This step is optional, however, it’ll make a huge difference.

Body oils are nourishing and can help seal in your moisturizers. Whenever I use one, I notice that my skin stays moisturized longer and we can’t forget about the glow it leaves behind!

Using a body oil can also reduce inflammation, strengthen + protect the skin’s barrier, and penetrate the skin quickly.

Check out these body oils!

Fragrances

One of the last bath and shower products you should have in your routine is a nice fragrance.

If you want to smell good all day, then it’s important to choose a fragrance with similar scent notes to the other products you use in the shower.

Spray your pulse points such as your wrists, behind your ear, the base of your throat, and your inner elbow. These points emit heat which allows your fragrance to release into the air.

Here are a few of my favorite fragrances:

Stop neglecting your skin from the neck down and invest in bath and shower products that will help you maintain smooth, glowing, and healthy results!
